Self-Esteem (6 weeks)—Ages 6–8

Detailed course description:

A supportive and welcoming program designed to assist children in developing and maintaining healthy self-esteem. Lessons covered include negative and positive self-talk, managing peer pressure, self-care, and building confidence in being oneself! Participants will engage in games, role playing, affirmations, crafts, and stories while quieting negative self-talk. Parents/guardians will participate in the program for the final 15 minutes of each class to actively engage in the learning process with their child. We will review the content and set a plan in motion for consistent skill practice throughout the week. Please note: Children under six cannot be registered in this course.
