Note: IN PERSON CLASSES: Materials will be distributed at class. Please bring two pens/pencils, a nut free snack, water bottle and indoor shoes in wet weather. ONLINE CLASSES ONLY: Books and cards will be mailed out 2 weeks before class. Please consider this when choosing your online training date or please come pick your book up if you choose a date with shorter lead time. Zoom links are at the bottom of your receipt. Please click the Course Verification link to confirm receipt and save for use the day of class. Please ensure your students has the workbook, pen/pencil, and markers or crayons for class. Please ensure an adult is available to assist your child when needed.
Detailed course description:
Is your child facing bullying or struggling with social interactions? Our Bully Proof class supports kids dealing with both bullying and their own bullying behaviors. Through role-playing, group discussions, and hands-on activities, children will learn to identify and explore bullying behaviors, stand up for themselves or others, advocate for kindness, manage emotions, communicate respectfully, and understand when and how to report bullying. The class focuses on self care, building healthy relationships, boosting self-esteem, and creating a safe, supportive environment for all.
