Note: IN PERSON CLASSES: Materials will be received at class. Please bring two pens/pencils, a nut free snack, water bottle and indoor shoes in wet weather. ONLINE CLASSES ONLY: Books and cards will be mailed out 2 weeks before class. Please consider this when choosing your online training date or please come pick your book up if you choose a date with shorter lead time. Zoom links are at the bottom of your receipt. Please click the Course Verification link to confirm receipt and save for use the day of class. Please ensure your students has the workbook, pen/pencil, and markers or crayons for class. Please ensure an adult is available to assist your child when needed.
Detailed course description:
Students will participate in discussions, activities, and role-playing to develop positive strategies for recognizing, controlling, and expressing their anger. They’ll learn that anger is a normal and healthy emotion, and discover how to identify their personal triggers and explore the effects of anger. They’ll also learn how to express anger in a safe and
healthy way, building essential life skills for emotional well-being, resilience, and stronger friendships and relationships. Please note: Children under six cannot be registered in this course.
