Detailed course description:
This course is designed to help you feel more comfortable in emergency situations. You will learn how to think, react, and improvise when dealing with time priorities. Upon completion, you will be prepared to make appropriate decisions about recognizing, preventing, and treating emergencies. Basic Rescuer CPR is covered in Basic (Emergency) First-Aid. Included are airway, breathing and circulation for adults, infants and children; bleeding; shock; and secondary assessment. This course teaches the skills a first aider needs to act as a crucial link in the EMS system.
